[META][HUMOR] Who would you cast in ILB: The Movie? Well, this is always interesting....
What actors/actresses would you cast to play everyone in the film version of ILB?
Difficulty: Anyone but Joe Pantoliano.

Let's go with Gary Oldman for Standish, shall we?

The voice actress(es) for the AIs would remain the same.
Dana- Kristin Kreuk
Jersey- Seth Green
Jan- Jessica Alba
Kamal- Kerr Smith
Herzog- Michael Ironside
Standish- Gary Oldman
Thin- Guy Pearce
James- Peter Horton
Those are the people who I usually picture in my head when I'm listening to the .wavs. Dunno if it's cause they sound alike, or if they just have the same personalities.

Do I get to be official Google Image Search Lackey...?
Seth Green as Jersey?
I just don't see it. He should be nerdier imho
I think everyone knows what Jessica Alba looks like.
Kerr Smith as Kamal?
See comment for Jersey. Also we might want him to be Indian?
Michael Ironside as Herzog?
I'll take it.
Gary Oldman as Standish?
That sounds familia- I mean, I commend you on your EXCELLENT taste, sah!
Guy Pearce as Thin Kinkle?
Might be too old...
Peter Horton as J^2?
Er... I guess. Seems a bit off, but I can't tell why.

Bah, it's Hollywood, they can fix any age problems. And for nerdiness, I never really saw Jersey as that much of a nerd, more of a slacker or some such. And for Kerr Smith, I don't know, give him a pair of glasses or something. But if you don't like him, you can always go with Neil Patrick Harris (hah).
I realized I forgot a few:
Rani- Julie Ann Emery
Sophie- Kirsten Dunst
Hiro- Jamie Harrold
Aiden- Ryan Phillippe
Stupid Cop- Harvey Keitel
And watch the show Brimstone for why I would pick Peter Horton as James James.

OK, here's my list. Weird how a couple seem to be obvious already:
Janisarry-Jewel Staite
Rani-Linda Cardellini
Standish-Gary Oldman (too obvious, so...) Kevin Spacey
Jersey-Seth Green
James James-Keifer Sutherland (typecast, I know)
Thin Kinkle-Philip Seymour Hoffman
Herzog-Scott Glenn
Aiden-Liev Schreiber
Stupid Cop-Chaz Palmenteri
Can't place Sophia, Kamal or Hiroyuki in my head.

Zach Braff should be Jersey.
Thin, obviously, should be Lance Hendriksen.
Jan's tough. I picture thin and athletic. Maybe Jennifer Garner or Evangeline Lilly. Really, though, the 18-year-old version of that.
ETA: ooo, really like Linda Cardellini and Kiefer Sutherland.

I[m sorry, I dont see Michael Ironside for Herzog. STNADISH maybe. Maybe its because Ironside is always playing the heavy?
I would put in Barnard Hughes for Herzog. (ok, so watch The Lost Boys with him, and there ya go!)
Jersey, methinks our favorite AI actor should be about the right now, bring in Haley Joel Osment....

snip
Zach Braff sounds good, but Lance seems a bit old to be Thin. He's a great actor, but I always like him when he plays the tortured good-guy. I kinda can see him as Herzog, though.
As for Thin, I think Marcus Chong (dozer from Matrix) sounds like a good candidate:
Whatcha think?

One sort of odd thing you could do is randomly surf Hot Or Not and mentally ask yourself which of these people looks like character N..

What about Eliza Dushku for Jan? Tommy Lee Jones for Herzog?

I can so see Kiefer Sutherland as J^

. The first person that came to my mind was Angelina Jolie(sp?) as Jan. I actually haven't ever seen any movie that she's in but she looks like she'd fit. Oh, and Marcus Chong would do well as Thin in my mind.

Chris Tucker as Thin Kinkle! That's GREAT!

I switch all my votes to daboking. Truly, he is wise in the ways of casting.
